The idea
Treat the reel like the product.
1986’s whole value is craft you can see move. So the site should lead with the work — a gallery-first build where optimized motion, a crop-mark art direction, and an edit-suite voice make the studio feel as finished as the film it delivers.
And it should read as a sibling to the Highdive concept — same type, same cinematic bones, your own mint. Sent together, the pair finally makes the agency and its in-house studio look like the one family they are.

What happens to the GIF reel?
We re-encode it to lightweight muted loops (a fraction of the weight, actual motion) with static posters for reduced-motion — so it’s faster and more alive than the current grid.
